Disposable contact lenses are worn for a time prescribed by the manufactures and must be disposed off, to be replaced by a fresh pair.

Disposable contact lenses can be determined by the frequency of their uses. Disposable contact lenses are replaced every two weeks or sooner, even one day of use.
Frequent replacement lenses are replaced monthly, or quarterly while the traditional or reusable lenses are replaced every six months or longer. If your eyes become red, sensitive to light, blurry and agitated, remove the lens immediately and go to your optometrist or ophthalmologist.
