The Xbox 360 is and always has been one of the most talked about and bestselling video game systems.  However one issue that has always remained on the Xbox 360 is whether or not it caused a revolution in the gaming world.  Some people have said that the Xbox 360 has caused a revolution in the gaming world, while others think this is nothing less than hilarious.  There are a lot of people who have their doubts on whether or not the system is all that it has been made out to be.

One explanation that some people have for why the Xbox 360 is no revolution is that there are limited quantities.  The Xbox always sells out in all the stores and it can feel like forever just to wait for a few consoles to come back in stock.  Not only that, but also the price of the system is quite high especially in comparison to some of the other games available today.  The low-end system retails for just under $300 and this is just too much for some people’s pocketbooks.

These points all go to show why the Xbox 360 is in fact not even close to a revolution in the gaming world.  There is also a question on why if the Xbox 360 is such a revolution why there are so few new games being released for it.  On average the same number of games are released for the Xbox each year as are for the Playstation and Wii.  While all of these different problems and issues may make a difference for some, to others who are avid fans of the Xbox 360 it will not really matter.

The point is that if there is someone who is trying to decide which video game console to get they should base their decision on the real details.  The idea that the Xbox 360 is some amazing gaming revolution is actually the reason that a lot of people go out and buy it.  If you are trying to decide on a video game system to purchase, make sure that you consider all the details to help you make the right decision.  It will be well worth it to take a bit of time and make your decision wisely rather than rush it.
