Having a nice long bath at the end of the day is what many people look forward to. Whether you have a career that keeps you on your feet all day or have a household of children to look after, a bath can be so relaxing and relieve all your stress. There are lots of different DIY spa products you could make on your own right at home but a scented bath soak is one of the easiest. One of the best DIY spa products is a scented bath salt soak that you can store and use any time right at home.

For this DIY spa treatment you will need a few Ziploc bags or at least 1 gallon bag per oil, plain Epsom salts and 100% pure essential oil. You can choose whatever variety of oil you want, depending on the purpose and your personal preference of course. Each essential oil has its own use, for instance lavender works for relaxation while lemon is refreshing and energizing. Now to make your own spa products you want to measure out three cups of Epsom salts and put these into a Ziploc bag.

Per each scented bath soak you will need three cups of Epson salts and about ten drops of whatever essential oil you decided to use. This can take a bit of practice and some oils smell stronger than others so you may have to use more or less. Also keep in mind that the potency of the smell will depend on the type of essential oil you are using as lavender is much softer whereas one like lemon or jasmine tends to be stronger. After you have added the ingredients into the Ziploc bag you need to shake it well for a few minutes to mix everything up.

Once the ingredients are all mixed up that is all you need to do and then you can either use it right away or store it in an airtight container to use later on. This way you have it made and ready to use whenever you have a bath next. Using a scented bath soak makes having a bath that much more enjoyable. Pour it under running water as you are filling the tub and right away you will smell the oils wafting up from the water as they distribute throughout the water.

They can boost the immune system and help heal wounds. They are safe and natural so even people with the most sensitive skin can use them without worry of their skin becoming irritated or breaking out. This means even people with sensitive skin can use them with no worry of their skin being irritated or breaking out. Now you just can’t wait to have your next bath.
