The world’s landscape today is extremely complicated and it gets more and more complex by the day. It’s also a very good idea to try and learn to develop an ear for how Spanish words should sound; written words can’t really convey how a word should sound on the tongue so listen to Spanish music or watch Spanish TV to get a handle on how the language should sound. You should also try actually speaking the language aloud because memorizing flash cards doesn’t really help you become a fluent speaker; you need practice for that. The best thing you can do to learn how to speak Spanish, however, is be consistent in your study schedule; slacking off will actually make it more difficult to retain information.
