Most women look forward to the day when they can get pregnant and start having a family with their partner.  Getting pregnant is not always as easy as it sounds, and there are a lot of women who have challenges with conceiving.  If you want to know how can I get pregnant, there are a few tips that you should keep in mind.  These are important tips to keep in mind if you’re ever trying to get pregnant.

For any woman who wants to know how can I get pregnant, the first step she must take is to learn more about her cycle and when she ovulates each month.  The average woman has a cycle that lasts 28 days and ovulates two weeks after the first day of menstruation.  If your cycle is the same you can use a regular calendar to determine what days you should be having intercourse on.  However there are some women who have irregular cycles and in these cases a doctor is often needed to use tests to help the woman find out when she will be ovulating each month.

For any women trying to get pregnant, it’s important they do everything they can to improve their fertility.  In particular this means you need to be eating a nutritious diet, getting plenty of exercise and quitting bad habits such as smoking and drinking alcohol.  Smoking is an especially bad habit for couples who are trying to conceive, as it lowers men’s sperm count and reduces women’s fertility.  Just as important is to relax and try not to get stressed out.

This is much easier said than done of course, especially for women who have been trying to conceive for a long time.  Especially if you’ve been trying to conceive for some time now, you may find yourself worried and upset but try to stay relaxed as much as possible.  A lot of women think that the old trick of putting a pillow under the hips during sex is nothing but a myth.  You can also try putting a pillow under your hips during sex and remain there after sex, as this will give the sperm more time to travel to the cervix.

Age can also play a major factor in a woman’s problem with conception.  The older a woman is the more troubles she is likely to have with getting pregnant.  Exercising is also very helpful for women trying to conceive.  These tips are all important to remember if you’re trying to get pregnant, to offer you the best chances of success.
