Pay Per View has a lot to offer but what about when you first start using it?  Pay Per View is really simple to use although it may not seem that way at first.    There are a few tips that can help if you are just getting started with your Pay Per View programming.  If you have just heard of a UFC fight starting in five minutes but have no idea how to order it, of course you are going to have a serious delay before watching the fight.

Ordering with Pay Per View is easy.  All you need to do is browse through your television programming until you find the chunk of categories that are listed as PPV.  These are usually grouped together to make things easier for the user, but they may be separated into a few different categories.   Browse through the selection, find the program you want, and then click on it.

This box should offer you information such as the title and length of the chosen program, as well as the price.  It may be the standard pass code which is usually 0000, 1234 or the last four digits of your home telephone number.  It is going to tell you to enter in your pass code, which you were given when your satellite or cable was first set up.  You should have your pass code written down in a safe place but if you have forgotten it you can contact your service provider and they can lead you through the steps to do a reset.

If you would rather go through your service provider to order a program then you can always do so using the phone.  This number will vary depending on which service provider you are with, because there is no direct line for Pay Per View and instead it should go through your cable or satellite company.  Get the most out of your Pay Per View programming by using the built-in timer.  This way you can actually order programs ahead of time so they are all set up and ready to go.

This saves you the hassle and stress of having to hurry minutes before a program you want to watch.  Instead of risking missing the first few minutes of your favorite programs or movies, you can place your order earlier that day or even the day before.  You can decide what you allow your children to order on Pay Per View so that they are not sneaking into adult or violent videos while you are not at home.  If you have sneaky teenagers and you have to leave home for work or to run errands, you can block them from watching any adult or violent movies with the parental control feature.
